I nearly read the whole internet!

... and so I have now this nice 10 MBit/s connection to this Internet-thing and I downloaded already most of it, when I finally found www.adequacy.org.

And to my big relief I found this great article about Mandrake Linux 8.1! I couldn't install it as well, and finally someone addresses these problems. I hope those Linux-people will do something about this. I have heard there are some really good applications for this Linux-thing such as write-only progamming languages (I think it's called PERL.EXE or the likes).

Yes...

What else to say?

Currently I'm doing quite well with non-studying. That means: All my books I should have read this weekend are scattered on my desktop but instead of reading them I read www.adequacy.org. It's much more interesting. You learn so much new things.

Oh yes...

Can somebody tell me, what "trolling" means?

If you want to know why Lunix is so screwed up, just take a look at the people who use it. Idiocy.

"Trolling" is the process of placing the entire contents of one's diary entry in the Intro area and leaving the Body blank.

:-D

I see.

I already started to wonder why everybody else has this nice line between the intro and the body... :)

But I don't believe you that this is "trolling"...

a better description of "trolling" is when someone puts six words in their intro area and zero words in the body, thereby wasting a spot in diary list that could be better occupied by someone else's entry, namely mine.

sorry about the typos...I haven't had a wink of sleep for 40 hours, and it's damaging my ability to have/write cohesive thoughts.

I think you might find this link a helpful explanation of the art of trolling.
