My observations about Republicans

Now I'm a foreigner living in the US so Democract or Republican doesn't mean much to me. But one thing I have noticed: if there's someone in your workplace who is fat, dumb, thinks that hamburgers are the only food worth eating and thinks London is a country in Europe or Asia or somewhere like that then they're probably a Republican.

As I say - I'm not a native to the US so I obviously have no axe to grind whatsoever. But it does seem to be a general rule that the neurally challenged people in the US vote Republican. Of course this could be just a West Coast thing. I've never been to the MidWest so for all I know in that part of the US the Republicans are the smart ones and the Democrats are dumb. But in California it seems to be the rule that the dumber people vote Republican. And I doubt that it is just a California thing. States like Alabama and Kansas are full of very dumb people who think that they don't share any genes with monkeys and vote Republican.

There's nothing wrong with that of course. Different people have different needs and their interests lie in different places. It's not surprising that dumb people have their own special needs and so vote for a political party that can help satisfy them. I'm just so surprised by how direct the correlation is between fat dumbness and being Republican.

Fascinating people these Americans.

Disclaimer: I should add that this is just a correlation. Not every dumb or fat person votes Republican. And clearly there are at least some intelligent Republicans otherwise they wouldn't actually have anyone smart enough to take on the job of being President.

	It is a fact that 80-90% of any given population are stupid. This manifests itself in many ways. Most significantly in the distribution of wealth. The richest 1% of the population owns 95% of the worlds resources. Extrapolate a little to political parties and you will find that with 90% of Americans being stupid (UN reports that US has the lowest measured IQ on average of all industrialized nations), and it should be no surprise to you that there are a lot of stupid Republicans. My guess is that if you took a meaningful sample from both parties, you would find a pretty even distribution of stupidity across the board.

It should have said: "And clearly there are at least some intelligent Republicans otherwise they wouldn't actually have anyone smart enough to make the presidential candidate seem as if he is smart." I am not american myself, and I am largely indifferent to who or what is sitting in the president's chair, as long as he/she/it doesn't fuck it up all too much

	So far, the Mighty Shrub has pissed away a decade's worth of gains in Middle Eastern peacefulness; killed the largest economic expansion of our time; presided over the worst-ever failure of counterintelligence, at the minor cost of 4000 lives--plus breaking the Manhattan skyline; knocked the constitutional supports out from under civil liberties; usurped the power of the judiciary with regard to death sentences; and abrogated or refused every major international convention, particularly those related human rights. And that's just his first year, he's got three more to go. So, just how much fucked up should things get before you consider it too much? Where's the threshold?

	I think you are overgeneralizing my state. Our governor happens to be a Democrat. I still don't think that does very much to prove our intelligence. But I don't like it when people stereotype my state. And, at least in my experience, Democrats tend to be more heavyset. _ _ Do you suffer from late-night hacking? Ask your doctor about Protonix.

	what are craggy pants? Are you referring to the US usage of the word "pants" or the Brit version? And is there something that's making the pants craggy, or are they just naturally that way? Oh...you had something to say about politics, didn't you? I'll go back and read it now. Cheers.
