Hey, Admins
At the prompting of jsm, I elected to do a more complete write-up of my last diary entry and to stick in in the submission queue.

It's kinda unnerving sicne I have no idea what the status of it is. I can't view any editorial comments. I'm not even sure if I'll know when it's been totally dismissed if that fate befalls it.

I do want to say to any admins who my browse through my diary that it's not a troll. I never write anything that I don't personally believe and that seems to be the standard around here. Nor do I write for the purposes of insulting, pissing people off, or anything else particularly childish. I mostly write to encourage discussion which is the path to enlightenment, since there is nothing gained by having people agree with you.

Reckon that as an author you should be (none / 0) (#1)

Able to see your story being moderated. Surely Scoop can handle that.

It's possible (none / 0) (#2)

It's possible that it actually would let me view my own works, but I'm not entirely sure how so unless an admin comes along and emails me a link or something, there's not much I can do. =)

it's in the queue (none / 0) (#4)

and it will be posted -- I have the authority to do this on my own, and I said I would. We're waiting for a strategic moment USian time. Your suggestion for a new feature has been added to the TODO list in the editors' queue -- I can see arguments on both sides.

Stories don't get moderated (none / 0) (#3)
by iat on Fri Jul 20th, 2001 at 05:51:04 AM PST
The editors decide among ourselves whether to post an article or not. There is no moderation on submitted articles and the normal Scoop voting process has been disabled.

Sventhatcher's article will probably be posted later today. HTH.

There are editorial comments, and those might be nice to have if for some reason the article was rejected. For re-write purposes. Even though I may be the only living person who re-submits things if they are initially rejected.
