I'm Bored, so I decided to write something here

Well then I guess I got really bored, so I decided to write here. Is it me, or is this a "ADD" site? I mean, most of the shit here is meant to get our attention, and it does. Its not like Slashdot, where they have moderate left opinions, or K5, same premise, but the editors there, have gone ahead, and taken a right ideological path here. Where have we seen this before? Yes, Geekizoid, except, they're more of a leftist site with all their distrubing material. Giz, I have hardly any respect for, it seems to be a childish site at times, its users, Vlad is a good guy, respect him, CM too. Motherfuckin spork just plain disturbs me, a grown man, a father at that, trolling. Whats this war anyways of k5 and aq?

Adequacy.org does not discriminate (5.00 / 2) (#3)

We don't give any particular preference to articles or viewpoints that are slanted to the left or the right. We are the premiere controversial discussion site on the Internet for precisely that reason. If it seems that there is a perceptible bias towards the right, then that is because there are more controversial viewpoints on the right than there are on the left.

Still, that doesn't mean that the left gets ignored. "Bedtime For Democracy" and "Christianity Isn't Working In The US .. Is Islam The Answer?" don't strike me as being stereotypical conservative positions. The greatest asset of Adequacy is that you can read it every day and know that you will always be challenged, regardless of where your personal beliefs can be found on the political spectrum.

slashdot is about as libertarian as Kim Il Sung.

The party line there is not so much libertarianism, as spoilt-bratism.

Most of slashdot's readerships political awareness is at the level of 'I want to steal music from record companies and the nasty Riaa and DMCA won't let me'

Geekizoid is just plain disturbed.

Kuro5hin is a total wankfest from its stupid name, to its stupid groupthink promoting editorial policy.

Adequacy on the other hand, knows no politics.

We will post anything, from any political viewpoint. All we ask is that it be well-written, and controversial.

thank you
