Oh surprise this morning when the phone rang. It was some friend of mine who happen to work at "Registro de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria", some bloody government agency here in Spain put at charge of mantaining a record of every real state property transaction all around the country.

The beginning
They found me again
about #adequacy
The thing began some months ago. I started visiting Adequacy and read about Martino Cortez Corporation. Some time later I was shocked in the middle of my English breakfast: there was an small article at the end of the newspaper talking about the speculation in real-state transactions. There were some names there, and one of them was Martino Cortez. I've got a contact in some government agency so I asked him for a favour, and some days later he rang me back. He gave me the following piece of information: In the last three months some Martino Cortez Corporation has taken control over one major hotel at Mallorca, two major hotels at Canary Islands, one small hotel and a very big restaurant at Marbella and three big clubs at Ibiza. It seems there has been an enormous crises in the touristic business in Spain this year and some foreign investors have decided to take advantage of this in what seems to be a very bold, high-risk operation. If Spanish government fails in his attemp of controlling terrorism in the country, things are not going to get better, tourist will stay scared about bombs in touristic places (five of them last couple of months here, one little child among the deads) and won't come, so hotels and clubs won't fill and some people there in USA is going to lose a lot of money. Really, I'm none of those guys with a hugue amount of cash to invest, but if I were, I'm not really sure if I would put my money in the hands of Martino Cortez. It seems to be a risky game.

Now that everyone knows that the terrorism is staged to lower the price of real estate, it will double again.

Think before you post next time.

is it true that the Spanish 'c' as in "dos cervezas, por favor" is said the way it is because King Philip had a lisp?
