Just read about this and thought you'd all be terribly interrested. Apparently, a danish nursing home is showing elderly patients suffering from dementia hard-core porn.

Apparently, the use of sedatives has decreased as a result of this, according to the home. Others are, not surprisingly, more sceptical to the idea.

I wonder if this will become an accepted treatment method... somehow I doubt it.

Europeans (being among the most fucked-up people on Earth) are on the whole only interested in a few things. Racism - they make an art form of this Socialism - (National or otherwise) they are never happier than when they are redistributing someones wealth or genociding some innocent race or other. Porn - Most of the worlds top quality porn comes from Europe. In fact its a little known fact but the Danes invented the porno movie in around 1895. If you go to the sex museum on Damrak in Amsterdam, you can see stills from some of these early pornos - the word 'hirsute' does not do those early Europeans justice. As for showing alzheimers victims porno, medically this seems a bit suspect. Nicotine on the other hand has been demonstrated to improve memory in suffrers. Perhaps they should be given 20 marlboros instead.

That's the whole idea. Obvious problem is, how do you get these Alzheimer's types to concentrate on smoking the cigarettes? They idea is to get them all excited, and, well, let's not go too deeply into the details, but afterwards having been well-trained by decades of customary use they'll reflexively reach for that therapeutic cigarette...

If only we in the U.S.A. weren't so prudish we'd do the same. It's good for the patients, good for the national economy in a global sense, and good for the small farmers of North Carolina too. One better than even a Dale Carnegie solution, it's a win-win-win situation!

Silly me, I missed the important part of this story. Not only do the show porn, they also bring in prostitutes.
