Enron Venture Capitalism
You have two cows. [ED by elenchos] I'm not exactly sure where loginadequacy plagiarized this material from, but it might have originally come from the "Hong Kong" part of this Tucows page, although I think the original joke was stolen from someone else. My guess is George Carlin, but I don't have all day to research stolen IP. Maybe one of our intelligent readers can tell us. At any rate, a yellow card is issued to loginadequacy for low-down, contemptible IP theft, and along with a warning that if you keep it up, you will not be around here much longer. Thank you. |

You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your brother-in-law at the bank,
then execute a debt/equity swap with an associated general offer so that you get all four cows back, with a tax exemption for five cows. The milk rights of the six cows are transferred by the majority shareholder who sells the rights to all seven cows back to your listed company. The annual reports says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more. |
