Ah, Shoeboy.
Still trying to decide if the world is a better place because our paths have crossed, or is it instead that it's a better place in spite of recent events because I'm around?
Your "geekness" was well-entrenched prior to our having met, as was your burgeoning conscience/consciousness. I am also on record as having recognized that "geeks" can be sexy (but only when they don't use it as an excuse to be nothing more than drones). For what it's worth, ya got the goods in spades, ma cher.
Remember, also, that they're not called "growing pains" for nothing, and they don't stop once physical maturity has been achieved. Truth be known, you're so much more than any one hastily-applied label or descriptive adjective could ever encompass, and that a life well-lived truly begins when you look past your borders -- that, above all else, is what I hope you remember from this.
The expression on your face while staring at a pile of Legos before you, lost in your own imagination, defies description... All I can say is that it was, for me, nothing less than another reason to love you even more. Simply put, you amaze me.
With regard to Dr. Cortez's admonishment, I gave up typing for a living a years ago and am owned by no one. Here's hoping that his "ladies" realize that they, too, have the ability to change their lives in similar fashion, as well as the responsibility for refining any such changes if they don't quite end up where they thought they would.
As for RobotSlave's curious dialect, I recognize some Germanic influences... I'll leave it to his discretion as to whether or not he is moved to elaborate.
I have a life-long history of siding with the "underdog" in almost all situations. Hang in there; you're worth it. Need I say more?
