 K5 Expatriot

 Comments:

Hi. I'm res0. I'm a k5 expatriot. I'm sick of the wankers on k5. I've read aq some, but I think I'll start paying more attention to it now. I've heard good stuff about it, and I really enjoy the articles. However, I have a few questions.

I'm getting conflicting views from the articles. Is this a Christian site? Is this a Windows site? A Lunix site? Or is it all a gigantic troll, ready to pick on ignorant lusers who might come here and start asking stupid questions about the site?

I hope that I'll fit in just fine, but I still have my doubts. What do you, the users of aq, think?

You don't even know me. Why are you calling me a wanker? Geez. Some kind of welcome I get on aq.

God. Stupid <a href="http://www.adequacy.org">adequacy.org</a> people going around telling me I'm a wanker, when I'm clearly not. <a href="http://www.falwell.com">Jesus H. Christ</a>, is this lame or what? I'm leaving.

Way to go, loser. You put HTML tags in a plaintext post. Very, very intelligent is not a phrase I would use to describe you, res0.

You've been profanely insulted in your very first AQ diary! Looks like you'll fit in just fine.

Please do not use the abreviation AQ to stand for Adequacy.org. It makes you look like a pathetic geek with no class. (This may be true of course, but we can't let your slovenly behavior reflect badly on the site)

I'm delighted to have been insulted and all, but really, junior, if you're going to try and pretend like you're one of the elite, the least you can do is log in. :P

what is adequacy (none / 0) (#11)
by Anonymous Reader on Wed Mar 27th, 2002 at 09:03:52 PM PST
Adequacy is first and foremost a place that detests meta commentry.

In answer to your question, I could explain to you that there are NO trolls allowed on this site. PERIOD. But of course, if I explained that then I'd have to ban myself for meta commentary.

I should say that ThisIsNotAJokeAtAll's comments were tedious in the extreme and not at all up to the level of discourse that Adequacy readers expect. If I was logged in right now, I'd probably delete his posts.

On the other hand, your responses were lame too and so I'd be forced to delete your comments also.

If you want to fit in to adequacy, you're going to have to write better, more interresting comments. Frankly, it doesn't look hopeful.

Adequacy does not tollerate fools or bores. (With the exception of tkatchev, but he's Russian so that's different)

While my departue has been long, allow me to be the first to tell you: You will not fit in. You sir, clearly could not qualify to be part of our cast of some of the most elite, intelligent, and noble people on this so called "internet"

Thank you, and have a good day. May your supervisor not lay your worthless low-class self off.

His diary clearly shows that he has no idea what constitutes high quality discussion. Not only that but he didn't have the decency to read the FAQ. (Should that be "decency to RTFF" since he appears to have come from a geek website?)

On a related note: In my opinion, there have been too few logins deleted recently. Perhaps it's time to purify the login database.

It's a controversial site. anything that annoys you, irks you, or incenses you is generally a good idea for an adequacy story attempt. Good luck and welcome!

This place is full of wankers from k5. Most of them spend their time trolling k5 to try and get someone, anyone, to read their posts.</p>
