I was browsing CNN.com when I ran across an article about the ozone layer. It would appear that at least one environmental action taken has produced some results. |

In this article, CNN reports that satellite data demonstrates no change in the ozone hole over Antarctica for the past three years. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration believes that the ozone hole will continue to hold steady and not get any worse until the chemicals creating the problem diminish. At that time, they believe the ozone layer will begin to repair itself. Just a brief news item I thought I'd like to share with people. I like hearing good news once in a while. |
