So it was great snowboarding. Fantastic conditions. It started snowing on the drive up. We did stay in a tent instead of a mo/hotel room to save money. It got really cold in the tent but was worth not paying the $180 we would have had to cough up to enjoy a heater and a room.
Coping the tickets took about a half hour to get just right. Since the copier center, what we called the color copier, was on best quality it took about 5 mins to copy each ticket. So we set it for 6 and went to breakfest. When we got back 6 lift tickets waiting for us.
Snowshoe's slopes are really nice. I liked the "Western Terrioty" run the best, though it closed at 3, since it had no lights and it apparently takes a while to close, so we only got to ride it once. The terrian park was really good. There was a big 15-20 foot table top. My brother went off of it no problem, I went off it 3 times no problem. The fouth time, ouch. I landed wrong or something. Injured my knee. It hurt so bad I couldn't walk or snowboard. I limped down the rest of the way of the slope. What sucked was the fact that the bottom on that slope wasn't the resort, it was just the other side of the mountain. So I pussed out and got ski patrol to take me back. My friend's took pictures of me getting hauled off in the snowmobile to make fun of me later. They then meet me around to help me get in to one of the vehicles. It was at the end of the day and everyone felt like going home anyway. So no big loss. All and all a great weekend.
One other thing worth mentioning would be those newish
walkie-talkies that are becoming popular. Well at ski-resorts they're everywhere. Everyone seems to have to have at least two and always hitting that stupid call button that makes the tone. What was fun was fucking with people. We had this group go from one side of the moutain to the other looking for their friend "Matt". They got so pissed when they finally figured out they'd been had.
