To set the record straight
  • Oh I tried, yes I did. I thought this was the place for me, but it would seem that I was gravely mistaken. You see, I thought a nuclear rocket scientist would be welcome at a webiste which caters towards bright people, but I've met nothing but resistance and flames here. You can all piss off and rot in heck you sorry little tarts. Some of you dolts had the nerve to suggest I have a drug/alcohol issue, some of you have flamed my Southern Baptist faith and most of you have simply made inane remarks to my freely given content. Well.

So, I dont' need your flames and I'm going to continue on my quest of searching for a website where I'll be welcome and where I'll fit in. Don't try to convince me to stay, don't waste your time filling my diary up with pleas because it's too late. Once I make my mind up about something it's a done deal.

  • Quite frankly it's with a heavy heart that I submit my "I'm leaving" diary, I really had high hopes for my future here. Alas, I guess the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So, all you little buggers can find someone else to flame because your old pal Syslvester won't be here for you to pick on. In the back of my mind I secretly know you are all just jelous of my intellect and my supreme talents, so I can at least take that knowledge with me. I do hope that you people have the maturity to overcome your petty issues and treat the next people who come to this site with the respect they deserve. In the meantime you can rest assuered that I will no longer subject myself to the nebulous dribble that you insufferable trollops continue to spew.

    Good Day.

  • I'm probably going to have a grilled chicken salad and a bowl of tomatoe soup for lunch today.

I suppose the pro-Ukian, pro-Windows slant of site was too much for your Usian, long haired, Linux-loving sensibilities to bear. Also it is slightly too controversial for you...

I recommend Slashdot as you will fit in well with the other misunderstood 'geniuses' there.

    Bye..Sob...

    Um, Bob Abooey? (none / 0) (#2)

<p>This post sounds suspiciously like Bob Abooey. The final "this is my lunch" comment really put it over the top. Booyah!

it doesnt matter how many accounts he creates, you can always spot him by the trail of subtle spelling mistakes he leaves behind in his wake.

    If there weren't spelling errors... (none / 0) (#6)

The only reason I'm back is because k5 is k0. You are too too correct that the intentional tone of this "news for grownups" is that everyone is a grownup here and so rudeness and immature flames and an attitude of superiority are de rigeur. Adequacy is proud to be mean and rude and dismissive and impossible to like. That's the way they believe they will winnow out the unworthy perhaps. I've had some rather interesting interchanges here about Islam lately so I'm feeling okay about stuff. It's a test of your flappability and try not to take it personally because it is about as impersonal while sounding personal as anything could ever be. Take it easy
