[editor's note by elenchos] Excellent diary, highly recommended. I especially like the use of whitespace, and the well-focused organization. The rest of you, please take note: even a diary entry-- if it is to be a good one-- needs a clear, discrete thesis, and this needs to be the controlling idea of the entire text. Don't go running all over the place with extraneaous additions and unrestrained tangents and asides. If you really have that many differnt things to talk about, write another diary-- don't try to glob it all together. Don't forget to wait a full 24 hours, of course.
