Today Mike visited the misty city of Seattle, where he ran one hell of a pep rally at Town Hall. Unlike the people who fume about him, he sweats charisma. But since I don't, I'll just offer a few pictures. Here's how it looks outside the hall. The building is surprisingly crooked in spots. For the most part, Michael stood behind a podium and talked, whilst waving his hands. At certain moments, he became blurry or elusive. And finally, there's the basement.

Michael, the great, mentioned a few of his more favorite bits of news.

While we appreciate your photos of the recent Gerhard Richter exhibit over at the MOMA, it would be nice if you'd show us some pictures of Michael Moore.

I used to like that TV show he had for awhile in the early 90's. I can't remember much about it, but he would do stupid things, and film people's reactions. I remember one time did "Communism's Last Tour" and drove a big red Hammer-and-Sickle truck full of Communist propaganda across the country. Most of it was fun stuff. I think in the second season, he got more vengeful and harrassing toward individual people, and I stopped watching.

The show was called "TV Nation" (none / 0) (#5)

When we was on, Moore could be pretty frickin hilarious. One time on TV Nation he had a bunch of Civil War reenactors enact other wars. "The Battle of Hiroshima" invloved on guy in the middle of the group yelling "boom!" and all the other guys falling down "dead".

Also, lileks.com is vary adequate. The comics section is great, as is the incomparable Flotsam Cove.
