Oh ghod this is rich.
It really makes you wonder just how much the worth of the written word has degraded in the modern era. It seems like when somebody wants to say something embarassing or simply stupid, they just put it down on paper. (Once upon a time, the written word was sacred. Truly, another sign of the apocalypse.)

Vladimir Ilych and Iosef Vissarionich are in Hell. Where else would they be? I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

And damnit, the Boston Herald is a fine newspaper. Especially when someone leaves it on the T and you have nothing else to read.

I didn't get that far in the article. Somewhere close to the beginning, my brain stopped working in protest from having to rev up my rusty Russian.

My guess is that, in Hell, it's all about the Big Guy. I still don't get why they think Heaven is a republic, though.
