Man! What is up with me! I'm such a slacker...
Though I shall not hang my head in shame, for now I have something to say, and I hope that you all can relate.

The fetid stink-hole in which I live, being the "Queen City" of Cincinnati, has moronically decided that hosting the Olympics here would be a great idea.
What the hell are these crack smokers thinking? (rhetorical question) To host the Olympics here would be a sad, sad joke. Over half the facilities would have to be located in Kentucky or off in central and/or northern Ohio? So why bother trying to pawn off Cinci as the host city? Its absolutely stupid. Seconly, I doubt they have a chance in hell at becoming the host for 2012. With all the glorious racial harmony taking place here, it would make a great melting pot for athletes of different nationalities and ethnicities. And our highways.... good God, what are they thinking? The roads here suck bad enough with all the locals and their inante inability to funciton behind the wheel - imagine adding a shitload more people to the alread congested streets. And Cinci's not really all that big - per capita, our traffic is hideous - we've been ranked one of the worst in the entire nation. So what's my point? The city of Cincinnati needs a beating! Not just the politicians, not the moronic Olympic bid comittee, but ALL OF THEM! I'm proud to say that I do not live in the city proper. I'd have killed myself if I did. It would be a real-life nightmare every day to live there - and the northern suburbs are bad enough being constantly inoculated and inundated with the stupidity of the city and its respective county. So, before my rant pulls me into the depths of local hell, all I ask is: Why is it that cities suck so badly? What makes them rot? Why can't cities be nice and refreshing? Why why why? |
