One of the things I've noticed parusing this backwater web-site is who's logged in. That magic little box that appears, telling you who is looking at the site is quite interesting... seems the number of actual users is not very high, but, damn, there sure are a lot of editors/authors on that list.

So, what is this telling us?

	is that everyone is waiting for a better story. I know I've already commented on everything that looks interesting, I'm just waiting for either a new story or a reply to one of my comments. Come on editors, give us something good. As a child I wanted to know everything. Now I miss my ignorance.

	...why do you keep coming back? Although we may find it difficult to replace someone of your unparalleled intellectual might and comprehensive knowledge on wide range of subjects, I'm sure we can scrape by without you. After all, you have so many better things to do with your life than reading our lame site - you've got a family and a high-flying career in the pharmaceuticals industry. I just wish I had as much going for me as you do! Imagine all the great things you could achieve if you spent some time with your children or worked towards a promotion, rather than reading this website. Or how about joining a club where you can meet other like-minded individuals? It is clear that you've outgrown adequacy.org and you're now ready to do something worthwhile with your life. 	work for a promotion... clearly, you are vastly unfamiliar with the world of small pharma/biotech companies... mensa? please... gimme a break... you all rant and rave about controvorsey, do you not? Then why is it that it sometimes seems as if you have difficulty with the things I have to say? Am I too far over the edge for the likes of you, iat? Just wondering... And besides, the very small amount of time it takes to check up on web sites such as this is nearly negligable - it simply fills the dead time between experiments. I'd love to have a job in that field, but sadly I've had to set my sights lower. I'm sure you'll understand that my ignorance doesn't necessarily make me a bad person. 	are you intellectually devoid? I would hate to think that is the case. You've obviously an extensive vocabulary, and the ability to costruct well versed arguments... that is indeed a skill needed in the world of pharmaceuticals. It takes more than just scientific facts to make a report - it takes a writer, especially when you are trying to sway groups like the FDA or various European regulatory boards to allow the sale of your product. Reports of this scale and scope do not write themselves. Also, there are many levels withing pharmaceutical companies - some of which depends on the size of the company. We employ people that only graduated high school through post-doc's... surely you fit in there somewhere. and as far as the edge goes... I fell off it a long time ago... I'm merely on the second time around. giddily insane, MFS I am not who you think I am.

	It takes more than just scientific facts to make a report - it takes a writer Maybe I should reconsider a career in pharmaceuticals then. I often find that scientific facts are insufficient, and that a bit of creative writing is sometimes necessary. I must admit that I find the idea of "well versed arguments" somewhat daunting, since that implies that I may need to waste time with tedious tasks like "research", or need to demonstrate integrity. 	when dealing with governmental bodies that can send you to jail for a very long time should they find you intentionally withheld data, or purposefully misrepresented data. Now, often they frist bring in federal marshalls to arrest the President and/or CEO of a company first, then they go after everyone else. This is especailly true when dealing with safety issues. Research is also often required, such as without it, you won't fool the regulatory officials. FDA auditors are not easily BS'ed. Such as the fate of a compnay in Ireland that thought so long as they were ISO compliant, that they'd pass an FDA inspection... I do believe they may have gone under... I can't remember off the top of my head what company it was, though. I am not who you think I am.

	you guys are struggling here lately. jsm's english style loving article was not really all that great and rightmann's article didn't deserve a reply outside of comments. there is a little bit of news at least that you all could comment on but all you manage is two articles about buttfucking and one about some dumb movie. at least have somebody bullshit a diary or something. admittedly the comments in the first buttfucking article where interesting.

	you guys are struggling here lately. But you've hated us right from the start! I lost count of the number of times you rubbished us in your k5 diary (but bear in mind that I can't count beyond 2). The editors just write articles for our own amusement and it's a bonus if anyone else likes them. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It would be no fun if we started taking it seriously and had to write articles just to please other people. That's just my opinion though, I don't know if any of the other editors take things more seriously than I do. Personally, I loved jsm's English Style Loving article, so maybe you need to be UKian to really appreciate the humour in it. Adequacy.org - love it or leave it.

	i didn't hate you at all, i just felt like you needed criticism at that point because you weren't reaching your potential. i actually thought you were doing good right before you crashed. some people say that certain authors suck and others don't but i don't subscribe to this, i think sometimes articles are just not that great. what i meant by struggling lately was that there weren't a lot of articles, and the ones that did come up weren't great masterpieces that took lifetimes to write. and just because you don't need people to praise you doesn't mean that you accept shitty or boring writing from yourself. it hasn't been shitty or boring lately, just moreso than it was previously. i guess i just didn't get jsm's article. that's ok, maybe the next one will be more to my interest.
