In the interests of purely scientific historical objectivity, the record would appear to indicate that after 2000 years of killing Jews in greater and lesser numbers and with finer and cruder degrees of sophisticated organizational techniques, there is no demonstrable correlation between the death of Jews and spiritual awakening and renewal on the part of non-Jews. The reverse can not however be necessarily concluded from the data though that aspect might appear to some as less conclusive.
