But I prefer Frog food. Especially all the smelly stuff - runny cheeses, guts and organs, and congealed, septic fat-fests staring you in the face like death itself.
Indeed, Frog food, like the Frog nation, is philosophically profound. The food itself reminds the diner of the ongoing, inevitable destruction of all things; how better to recall the transience of life than to eat with relish the inner organs of beasts and fowls? Like a latter-day Praetorian guard, the madrilènes shall whisperingly remind me of my mortality at the very height of a gastronomical triumph.
Just as it did to the force-fed goose whose liver I shall feast upon, death will come to me - and to all of you - and, inexorably, to our world and to all worlds. The universe will one day be a lifeless cinder, and even if it is somehow reignited, no thing of our universe could conceivably remain. A new creation is no less fearsome than the extinction itself.
Nathan -- Li'l Sis: Yo, that's a real grey area. Even by my lax standards.
