I'm interested in hearing your ideas of a Perfect World (or as close to perfect as possible). I'm just kind of curious, and try to be as serious as you can--I know I'm asking a bit much here, but please try.

By the way, I think I'm getting a VW Golf. I feel so guilty and sick about how happy it makes me.

	a good start to a perfect world is not feeling so guilty about being happy to get a new car. Just enjoy the feeling and be realistic about its appropriate place on the Happiness Scale - you know, higher than looking forward to a Big Mac, quite a bit lower than the happiness that comes from loving others. More peace-and-love, Kumbayah type life affirmations to follow, perhaps even tomorrow once I've brushed my teeth.

	There will never be a perfect world.. Unless there was a mass genocide, which I think would not be a good thing, then there will always be ignorant, racist, sexist, and other types of people who will always ruin society.

	You're kidding me, right? The Republic was pretty much borderline fascism (unlike the Laws, which was just straight out fascism). Is that your idea of a perfect world?

	<trip> Utopia is when we are freed from our physical prisons, and our reliance on anything tangible. Imagine all living beings as merely orbs of light...all unique in subtle but definite ways. Two orbs passing through each other would be like a Vulcan mind meld; as would 30 of them (us) grouping up. Imagine not having to sleep, eat, walk or drive. How much of out lifetimes do we spend maintaining and beautifying the very things that truly inhibit us? Absorbing energy, and at same time emitting it for others. Food, water, shelter??? 	...why not give up the spatial limitations as well? Why orbs of light, when we could be delocalized all over the Universe - omnipresent? Besides, emitting light costs energy and is only good as visual candy.
