But you forgot that most Windows users are criminals. If you run Windows you must surely have WinZip on your PC. Most likely you went to their site and download it didnt you.

Did you remember to read the license agreement?

QUOTE from WinZip Licence agreement:

Unregistered use of WinZip after the 21-day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

OMG you bunch of software stealers - you were supposed to pay $29 for it after the trial period! Imagine - how is the programmer of WinZip going to feed his kids now?! Now you have gone and stifled software development.

Go read the file in the WinZip directory called LICENSE.TXT if you dont believe me. Better get those checks ready too.

These "Windows Criminals" are more than likely using the included (and much superior) Windows XP zip file support. It has been licensed by Microsoft from WinZip. Microsoft has improved it to the point where it is the most easy to use piece of compression software ever. It is seemlessly integrated into the OS, there is no longer a need for "alternative" compression software.

Should I even explain to you that Microsoft probably payed the makers of WinZip a tonne of money for the software that has been included in Windows XP? The people behind WinZip are probably laughing all the way to the bank. And their children are growing fat off the interest.

You see windows95 came with a command line zip facility called pkzip and pkunzip.

The ZIP format was developed by PKWARE - http://www.pkware.com/

so Microsoft already have the rights to write zip stuff since before '95. Therefore WinZip got nothing from Microsoft and...

"all their kids will starve" - the common saying people use as a consequence of software copying to mean that the author is robbed of money. Why cant I use it in this case?

But please provide a web link to back up your claims. I do not remember a pkzip.exe that came with Windows 95. Aside from this, pkzip is a known hacker tool. It is used all over the web by sites that host illegal software for Linux users (as you are one it seems) to download.

look any hacker tool can have any name. I havent heard of one called pkzip but lets face it, its not exactly the end of the world if it has the same as a compressing program. Actually if I change netbus.exe to Slobodan Milosevic.exe does that make Slobodan Milosevic a hacker tool?

Not much. It provides a place to downlaod a program called pkzip.exe. For all I know, it is a virus.

Now, you claimed that Win95 came with a set of programs called pkzip and pkunzip. I have asked you to back up those claims. You, so far, have failed to do so.

So, again, since you seem incapable of comprehending even the most simple of questions, I will ask you again. Will you please provide a web link to back up your claims that pkzip was available with Win95? If you are unable to do thsi, I would appreciate it if you apologised to all of the Adequacy readers for your misrepresentation of the truth.

I suspect the above is true for all Windows users, as they are generally more well-reasoned than your average LSD-soaked teen hacker. You are all criminals and using dubious arguments, such as the one you put forth here, will not change that.

Therefore you must agree that a large number of self confessing "good citizens" will in actual fact have overlooked this and will actually be breaking international and US law by owning illegal copies of WinZip. They cant even argue they didnt know - the law is the law. Funny huh?

Sure the $29 fee would be a bank buster to someone on a weekly allowance but you are neglecting to consider those of us with real jobs. I currently make $40/hr with a pretty steady consulting job that makes the time I save using Winzip many times more valuable than the $29 I spent to buy it.

I've also purchased a fully legal copy of Windows XP with just 2.5 hours of my time rather than spending endless hours trying to download and install linux. Even one of the top hackers admits Linux is only free if your time has no value.

Why windows XP is a hacker OS

Serious XP Security Flaw

Security Flaw Found In Windows XP

Windows XP Data Loss

Let me quote just one of them:

"....which is part of the Windows XP operating system that many users have added to earlier versions of Windows. The flaw lets hackers remotely take over systems and run applications or use computers to stage denial-of-service attacks."

Yup quality operating system that one is.

Like Slobo said, we all use XP's native Compressed Folders technology built into the OS. Only you faggot pirate Linix hackers would see a problem with that (oh my god! monopoly!).

So im a 'criminal' because if I copy software and a hacker if I use Linux?
I'm going to rewrite your sentence, if you don't mind, so I can follow basic logic techniques used in forming coherent English sentences.

So, I'm a criminal because I copy software...
Yes. That's precisely the definition of criminal. A thief.

and I'm a hacker because I use linix?
Yes. That's the very reason any hacker uses linix. All of the hacking tools like nmap, sendmail and wu-ftpd are made specifically for the linix program because it doesn't implement rudimentary hacker protections like obeying V-chip information. So, have fun with your little illegal tools, but if I ever see you in a context where I can see your IP address, your ass is as good as jailbait when the FBI comes after you for your DMCA violations.

But you forgot that most Windows users are criminals.
Prove it. You're talking out of your ass. There are over 400 million Windows users out there, and over 2,500 lonix users. I'd like for you to tell me that most of those users are criminals. Simple thing is, you're a troll. Because we don't go along with your quasi-communism, you try to label us as 'criminals,' or worse, 'greedy capitalists.' I don't fret over your trollish tendencies, however.

If you run Windows you must surely have WinZip on your PC.
Like I said before, no. You're an idiot. Your overgeneralization proves that you are nothing more than a complete retard. I don't know why I am wasting my time replying to your high school dropout self (if you have made it that far), but I'll keep typing for the benefit of others that may be reading.

Most likely you went to their site and download it didnt you.
Excuse me, is this a question? I cannot tell. Punctuation helps determine implications of what you're stating, but clearly that lesson hasn't come up yet in English class. It's the lesson after Charlotte's Web.

OMG you bunch of software stealers
Isn't this on the brink of irony. Brink, as in not quite, because the thought of you intending irony is doubtful. Anyway, you pathetic linix trolls have done NOTHING but steal software from Microsoft. All you ever do is steal their proprietary API codecs and "port" them to the linix program.

how is the programmer of WinZip going to feed his kids now?!
What's this, a defense of capitalism from a linox supporter? Oh, I get it, you weren't serious. My bad.

First why do you think all people who run windows run XP? Most people still run 98 or 2000, some even still run 95 and anyway YOU must have run one of these before you got XP.
So unless the majority of pre-XP windows users got by without a Zip facility (other than pkzip) then I am sure that all of them downloaded WinZip in their lives.
Then I can easily assume that hardly any of these people paid the $29 - not because they didnt want to but because they didnt read the license and click accept. But that still makes them a criminal and puts them on my level.

If there are only (as you said) 2500 linux users then YEA there are much more criminals who use Windows.

Secondly, you didnt understand that the point of my first message was to point out that all law-abiding users break licence agreements whether they like it or not.
Usually they are the people who say "the law is the law" so its nice for it to bite back at them...."what, you didnt know about the license fee?..well thats irrelevant - the laws the law you know".

If by missing off a "?" I can make you type a whole line out about it then why shouldnt I do it again. what about twice.

And ME, which also had Compressed Folders. The vast majority of Windows users haven't a clue what "zip" files are, and wouldn't know to download Winzip anyway.

But that still makes them a criminal and puts them on my level.
Hmm, odd you would say that. Yes, it does put them on your level. Well, not quite. They may thieve software, but they don't do it with the intent of "packet flooding" other users offline with their high tech DOS applications like netstat. That's the only reason you jackasses would steal the linix program anyway, it's just a free (shitty) version of stolen Microsoft codes.

If there are only (as you said) 2500 linux users then YEA there are much more criminals who use Windows.
In proportion, however, I'd say the ratio of Windows thieves is about 10%, while the percentage of linix thieves is 100% on the nose, starting with the theft of Microsoft's mainframe codecs itself, implemented into LinUX.

Usually they are the people who say "the law is the law" so its nice for it to bite back at them...."what, you didnt know about the license fee?..well thats irrelevant - the laws the law you know".
I'm sorry, I can overlook bad spelling and punctuation, but this is absolute shit. I don't have a de-obfuscator, so someone's going to have to help me on this masterpiece.

If by missing off a "?" I can make you type a whole line out about it then why shouldnt I do it again. what about twice.
You have the maturity of a five year old. Is that a surprise to anyone keeping a close eye on the anti-"M$" crowd, though? No, not at all.

There you go again with your over-exagerations. Hmm is that some form of l33t your using when spelling linux?

"They may thieve software, but they don't do it with the intent of "packet flooding" other users offline with their high tech DOS applications like netstat." That hardly justifies stealing software does it?????

The reason Microsoft is rubbish is because they have so much resources and yet come up with buggy, insecure systems and act with arrogance when these bugs are discovered.

That you praise XP already when it has barely been "tested" parallels the people who claimed winNT was "fully secure" which turned out to be quite untrue. Hence why mainly Unix machines run the internet rather than WinNT ones.

I'm not against hunting for food. That's ok. I'm not totally against hunting to control population (although it's generally our fault for driving out and killing wolves and such).

My biggest problem is hunting baby anything. Pussies! Now taking down a bear with your bare hands. Now that's cool.

So just because you are a thief and would never pay for something that is relatively easy to steal you assume that everyone else does the same?

What prrof do you have that people are not paying the registration fee for winZip? I paid it, eveyone I know that uses it has paid it.

And you think we don't read the license agreement before accepting it? The fact that you can't seem to comprehend anyone doing something like this is quite astounding. Only a total moron would do something like that. If I sent you a contract, would you sign and return it without reading it? If so, please tell me your mailing address and the forms will be in the mail.

In short, don't assume that everyone shares your flaws. If adequacy was populared mostly by linux hackers, then you'd probably be right, but here quality software is preferred over "free" software.

"I paid it, eveyone I know that uses it has paid it."
Can you prove that? no probably not - therefore I wont believe it. Its in your interest to lie anyway.
You dont seriously expect me to believe that you've asked everyone you know whether they have paid the registration fee for Winzip - you either have had some really boring conversations or just dont know many people. Are you still going to stand by your statement that *everyone* you know has paid for their winzip registration?

"And you think we don't read the license agreement before accepting it"
No, I dont think you do. The majority of people on this planet will just click accept. Dont bother trying to dispute this as I have been at many peoples sides - even people who knew shit about computers, while they installed windows on their new machine and not one of them reads the license agreement or at least they read the first paragraph of about 50 and go "screw this".

"If I sent you a contract, would you sign and return it without reading it?"
No because I would wonder what the contract was about. With software I know its going to be a "dont copy this" statement. Also I dont trust you. I trust Microsoft beacuse they wouldnt hide anything bad in the license or people would know about it. Any other software I dont care about - it wouldnt hold up in court if "you owe me $10000" was hidden in some text file licence agreement. It would be held as deception.

"In short, don't assume that everyone shares your flaws"
what are you, some sort of God?
