Kleptocracy is the same as socialism, which isn't a valid form of government.

yes, very good point - Does the form of government actually have to "work" (you know - be beneficial to the people and stuff) to be considered?

At press time, rule by the cock is twice as popular as any form of government at Adequacy.org. Editors, take note.

While deconstruction and translation of the root words in 'phallocracy' will, in fact, give you 'rule by the phallus', this is not the meaning of the word. Phallocracy is used to describe a patriarchy, either to mockingly suggest that a male-dominated government is predominantly concerned with their own penes, or to describe an unusual level male sexual dominance and oppression, e.g. legal rape, harems etc.. The Taliban could be described as a phallocracy as well as Shari'a law.

As if the clitoris were not as validly a phallus as the penis.

For the record, the universities are also a bastion of phallocracy.

the true meaning of anarchy vs "anarchists&qu (none / 0) (#15)
by Anonymous Reader on Mon Dec 31st, 2001 at 02:21:54 PM PST
Anarchy is, by definition, the total lack of government. As we all know, if true anarchy exists then chaos soon ensues. However, if we go with the ideals of "anarchists" then we would have a different social system. "Anarchists" do not believe in the absence of government, but rather the lack of a NEED for government. This is truely the ideal situation for humanity because under the "anarchists" ideals all people would cooperate to further the growth and well being of the society. Very few people can disagree that this would be the best form of "government" because it is the only one which embraces all of the ideals of Christianity and other religions with similar ideals. Anarchy in this sence, however, is almost impossible because of the nature of human beings. This IS possible on a small scale, as seen in small communes, but has never been truely practiced.
