Pilate (none / 0) (#6)
by First Incision on Sun Mar 31st, 2002 at 08:48:11 PM PST
I recently saw a depiction of the first station that showed Pilate's hands being washed by a servant boy. I found that symbolism quite powerful. I have always found the first station key. Ultimately Jesus's condemnation was not a sin of commission, but a sin of omission.

The first time, it could have been clumsiness, and the second time, bad luck, but the third time he fell? Pure genius! Hilarious!
