...if I don't know any of these names? Get some better polls. I liked the superfluous gender one better, even though it did run too long and had results that didn't add up to 100%.

While you can surely see the implicit moral as well as I can, too many people with sloppier thinking will see the ebola gags, misogyny and homosexualist entendres as humor, and not as the punishment for a sinful life. A. Rightmann |

well, as the Lublin Thomists teach us, (none / 0) (#11)
by nathan on Fri May 17th, 2002 at 12:13:04 PM PST
Catholicism and existential thought are not incompatible. Each person is confronted with the stark choice between choosing God and accepting the hell of his own determinedly Godless universe. If your idea of heaven is buttsex with Marmaduke, the Lublin school teaches that you are welcome to it, and that the freedom of choice involves the sombre burden of subjective responsibility before God. Who can possibly be responsible for himself? It is through contemplation of the impossibility of saving himself from his corrupted nature - and the moral exact equivalent of buttsex with Marmaduke - that a sinner can come to God. Nathan -- Li'l Sis: Yo, that's a real grey area. Even by my lax standards. |

You forgot such celebrity notables as Olivia Newton-John (even if she's getting older, she's aging well), Nicole Kidman and the ever-delectable Elle McPherson.
I would have voted for Elle, but she wasn't up there. It's a crime, I tell you! A crime! A troll's true colors. |

As a happy (currently feeling very lucky) Aussie,
i think i should point out that you have most definately missed out on some Aussie girls who are actually pretty. Kylie Minogue is only about 4"3' in your heigt measurements, and if you had ever seen umm.. Holly Valence on Home and Away (shudder) she wouldn't be getting as many votes. What about Nicole Kidman? Recently voted the most beutiful woman on the planet iirc? Elle McPhearson, supermodel extrodinaire, Cathy Freeman? your list is limited (as it is stupid), and who on earth is Jacinta Stapleton, Ada Nicodemou, Isla Fisher, Rebecca Cartwright or Madeleine West? Some Bitchin' Aussie. will munkara-kerr sentry solutions |

Katie Keltie
Those pictures suck though. She's really grown up well in the last couple of years. May even lose that cute little chubby look and turn out better than her "older sister", Holly Vallance. But hell, what do I know, I think Carla Bonner is the best looking one out of the lot of em. |
