Diana served her purpose, giving the nation two heirs to the throne. She then went off with a Muslim man with shady connections. Some time later she is involved in a terrible car crash which coincidentally solved two royal problems in one go. Charles is now free to marry Camilla, and the Royal heirs will not have a Muslim 'uncle'. You don't have to be a paranoid nutcase to suspect that there is more to this than meets the eye... I am risking my life even posting this information. time to give a Newtonian demonstration - of a bullet, its mass and its acceleration. -- MC Hawking |

by because it isnt on Wed Apr 10th, 2002 at 07:00:10 AM PST
Charles is now free to marry Camilla Charles is not "free" to marry Camilla. Camilla is Catholic. Charles, and the entire British monarchy since Henry VIII, is founded on Protestantism. If Charles marries Camilla, he rules himself out of monarch duty. Furthermore, Diana was killed in a car crash because her driver (employer: M. Fayed) was drunk and speeding, and the stupid tart wasn't wearing her seat-belt. Coincidentally, the only person who survived that 100mph crash into a concrete wall was the only person wearing a seat-belt. The moral of this story? Wear your seat belt and don't drink 'n' drive. adequacy.org -- because it isn't |

It looks to me that what your saying is that you don't have to worry about drinking and driving because if you wear your seat belt you'll live anyways Well, the guy who lived through that crash was on life support for a few weeks. It's not nice, but it's better than being dead. So if you don't mind the minor setback of hospitalisation and potential permanent disability, you can safely drink and drive while wearing your seat-belt. adequacy.org -- because it isn't |

I think the actual quote is "Goin' down... just like me. Loosin' fuggin' money all the fuggin' time. Hey darkie! You're fired! You know who shot Princess Diana? The Duke o fuggin' Edinburgh -- fuggin' Greek". So it's nothing like a quote. It's a pastiche of the Eye's regular coverage of the owner of the humourous magazine Punch.

no good choices (4.50 / 2) (#14)
by foon on Thu Apr 11th, 2002 at 01:08:23 PM PST
*Abraham Lincoln
Opposed the values of the founding fathers and destroyed the consitution. Deserved what he got. *John F. Kennedy Maybe the best choice. A courageous fighter against Communism, and contrary to what you might expect from a liberalist, he lowered taxes and increased military spending. But he stole an election from Nixon, an even more responsible anti-communist, was a front for the Mafia, and did not give proper support to the attempted liberation of Cuba. Being a papalist also doesn't help his case. *Moammar Gadhafi's daughter Collateral damage. Gadhafi supports terrorism, and the bombing of Tripoli was totally justified on those grounds. *Anwar Sadat Another terrorist sympathizer. Did sign a piece agreement with Israel, but just in order to buy time and get US aid in order to further his cause of driving Israel into the sea. *Ethel and Julius Rosenburg Communist spies, plain and simple. Deserved what they got. They were not assinated, they were legally executed after being found guilty under United States law of conspiracy. *Patrice Lumumba Communist sympathizer, known subversive. Mobutu was a far more responsible leader. *Spencer Percival *Alan Berg Huh? Probably commies though *Yitzhak Rabin As we can see from present events, negotiating with the terrorist Arabs is a dead end. *Princess Diana Proof of the moral decadence of the once-great homeland of the proud Anglo-Saxon race. I would offer another choice: Benito Mussolini. True, the association with Hitler and Nazism does cast somewhat of a tarnish on his proud rule. But his policies made Italy into a modern society, while crushing subversion and bringing order. I don't think any post-war government in Italy has lasted more than about a year, Mussolini could have provided much-needed stability for Italy as they recovered from the war. |
