osm, in light of your recent escapades with an unnamed adequacy reader, I feel the need to remind you of your loyalties. We, the editors here at adequacy, can't bear to see you led astray from the path to your golden Natalie. This cavorting has sickened and saddened us.
To remind you of the root of your passions, I have composed this humble bit of fiction. Please take this parable to heart, dear osm, and do not abandon the way of Natalie. We all hope to see you better soon.
Love and good wishes from your fellow staff members here at adequacy. At least from those of us who are not bastards.

Scenes From a Dream
Her soft brown hair blew gently in the night wind. She stood quiet, taking in the movement of the cool night breeze through her blouse and the scents of the country. Goosebumps formed on her arms as she took a breath of the chill air.
Natalie turned and saw osm locking the car door. Watching him do this mundane task, she smiled. "Its so beautiful here," she thought. "What a wonderful night to be alive and with this man."
osm turned and saw her smile. At first, he wasn't sure if she was laughing at him; he found it difficult to believe that this lovely creature would want to be here with him. She laughed and ran over to him, hair swinging, grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the stacks of hay in the distance. He followed, slipping his hand into hers.
At almost a run, she led him halfway down the dirt road. Abruptly, she stopped, turned to face him and grabbed his other hand. "Look at the stars!" she said, and tilted her face up to the sky.
osm looked into her face. He could see a soft smile and her eyes were sparkling. He could feel her small, warm hands in his. She was so alive, so aware! A shiver ran through his body.
Natalie looked back down at osm. He was smiling at her. "How wonderful," she thought. She laughed and quickly kissed him on the lips. He looked a little startled, so she slid a hand into his hair and gently stroked the back of his neck.
The kiss had surprised osm. As she touched his neck, he felt his pulse quicken, and he tried to catch her gaze. Did this mean what he hoped? It can't. It must. He was breathing faster now, his perceptions focusing on her and where their bodies were touching. Why wouldn't she look at him?
Why didn't he kiss her? Wasn't she beautiful? Didn't he want to? Natalie squeezed osm's hand, but he didn't squeeze back. Oh, god. Should she have kissed him? She looked up into his eyes. She was lost. There was nowhere else to look, and he wanted her.
Their arms moved around each other and they kissed. Their bodies overlapped, and they sank into each other, beyond their normal physical boundaries. The kiss lasted a long time, and when it finally ended they both stood swaying for a moment, leaning against each other.
osm held her close and inhaled the soft fragrance of her hair. "What's happening to me," he thought. "How can this be real?" He could feel her breathing and the heat of her skin where they touched.
Natalie took a deep breath and pressed her face into his neck. "I want this. Oh, god, I really want this," she thought. She felt herself give up to his warmth. She wanted to sink into him and stay there forever. She brought her mouth up to his and they kissed again.
This time, the kiss was more passionate. osm felt her beside him, responding to his touch. He slid one hand down over her bottom and felt the perfect roundness of it. She moved under him and moaned quietly. He began to loose himself into her.
Natalie felt osm hold her close and caress her softly. "Yes," she thought, and surrendered herself to her feelings.
Gently, they fell into the soft grass at the side of the road.

As her awareness of the world came back to her, Natalie felt osm laying beside her in the grass. He was gently stroking her hair and smiling down at her. She turned slightly and pressed her face into his chest. He was so warm and inviting!
osm had never felt as content and at peace with the world as he did at that moment. He smiled into the night and held Natalie close to him.
Quietly, they lay together and looked up at the stars.
